Merit-Based Deadline: At the time of admission

IPSR Merit Scholarship

Benefit
25% tuition fee waiver (1st year)

Awarded to students who have secured 75% or above in their Class 12 board examination. This scholarship is IPSR's way of recognising academic excellence and encouraging bright students to pursue a healthcare career.

Eligibility
• Secured 75% or above in Class 10+2 board exams • Admitted to any IPSR course (SMFWB/NSDC/University) • Fresh admission only (not for existing students) • Must maintain attendance above 80%
How to Apply
1. Submit mark sheets at the time of admission 2. Fill in the scholarship application form at the IPSR office 3. Decision communicated within 7 working days
Government Deadline: 31 October 2026

SC / ST / OBC Financial Assistance

Benefit
As per WB Government norms (maintenance + tuition)

Students from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes are eligible for scholarships under the West Bengal Government Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme. IPSR assists students with documentation and application.

Eligibility
• Belongs to SC / ST / OBC category (West Bengal domicile) • Family annual income below ₹2,50,000 • Admitted to a recognised paramedical program • Must apply through the West Bengal e-District portal
How to Apply
1. Apply online at edistrict.wb.gov.in 2. Submit caste certificate, income certificate, and marksheet 3. IPSR will verify institute enrollment online 4. Scholarship disbursed directly to student's bank account
Minority Deadline: 31 October 2026

Minority Community Scholarship

Benefit
As per NSP norms (up to ₹10,000/year)

Students from minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi) can apply for the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Minority Scholarship under the National Scholarship Portal. IPSR guides students through the process.

Eligibility
• Belongs to a notified minority community • Family annual income below ₹2,00,000 • Minimum 50% marks in previous qualifying examination • Must not be availing any other government scholarship
How to Apply
1. Register at scholarships.gov.in (National Scholarship Portal) 2. Select Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities 3. Submit required documents and institute verification 4. Contact IPSR office for assistance

EWS Need-Based Fee Concession

Benefit
Up to 30% tuition fee concession

For students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) who cannot afford full tuition but do not qualify for other government scholarships. IPSR offers a discretionary fee concession based on financial hardship.

Eligibility
• Family annual income below ₹1,50,000 • Must submit income certificate from Tehsildar/BDO • General/EWS category • Admission to any IPSR-affiliated program
How to Apply
1. Apply in writing to the IPSR Principal 2. Attach income certificate and bank passbook 3. Appear for a brief interview with the scholarship committee 4. Decision within 10 working days
NSDC / Skill India Deadline: Rolling — subject to batch availability

NSDC / Skill India Funding

Benefit
Subsidised or fully funded training

Students enrolled in NSDC-affiliated skill development courses at IPSR may be eligible for subsidised fees or full funding under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) scheme.

Eligibility
• Enrolled in an NSDC-certified course at IPSR • Indian citizen aged 15–45 years • Must not be a full-time student in another institution • Priority to unemployed youth and rural candidates
How to Apply
1. Enquire at the IPSR Admissions office about PMKVY batches 2. Register at pmkvyofficial.org or through IPSR 3. Attend the mandatory orientation session 4. Training cost covered under the scheme
