IPSR is committed to a safe, inclusive, and ragging-free campus environment for all students
IPSR strictly prohibits all forms of ragging on campus, hostels, and affiliated institutions. Any act of ragging will result in immediate expulsion and legal action.
All grievances are handled with complete confidentiality. Anonymous complaints are also accepted. Your identity is protected throughout the process.
The Anti-Ragging Committee meets within 3 working days of receiving a complaint. Action is taken as per UGC regulations and applicable law.
What Constitutes Ragging?
As per UGC Regulations and Supreme Court directives, ragging includes any act — whether physical, psychological, or verbal — that causes trauma, embarrassment, or distress to a student. This includes:
- Teasing, abusing, or playing practical jokes
- Forcing to do any act against will
- Verbal abuse, humiliation, or intimidation
- Disrupting regular academic activities
- Using social media to harass or bully
- Any form of physical violence or threat
